"Disappointment!!! This was the closest place to our house to enjoy Lake Ontario(don't much care for dirty Oneida Lake with their algae problems). Now it's closed off. Way to ruin what 90days of summer Upstaters have. Everyone just start looking forward to being winter house arrest inmates...."
"Very nice to visit in the rain. Rocks weren't slippery. I think come people just come and park on their lunch break. A couple cars but no people. Easy to get up and down the flats but no hand rail. Just scramble"

"Beautiful spot to rest near the lake, enjoy sunsets, walk the breakwall, and swim, yes it's a public area and NOT a "beach" but it's free and just as nice. You can cookout, and do whatever you like as long as you carry in carry out! No ones going to pick up after you! It takes a community to keep the community areas available for public use and that's the bottom line."
