"This place is horrific. Nothing gets fixed. They don't keep the areas clean, swept, washed. If something breaks...oh well. 5 different office manager teams so far. They last about 5 months .gone..new team. They took three times my rent and it took me a month to get that back..only because my bank helped ..not this place! News years eve 8pm two cars by mailboxes ..two gun shots... upstairs neighbor got a bullet through her car. ( Thank God she wasn't in it)Nothing done about it. Our last assistant office manager had her tires slashed. We got an email about apartments being broken into..even if we are home keep all doors locked. They allow 18 wheeler cabs to park in here but if you have a plant outside your door it is a 100 fine. I have 20 pages I can write."

"The Villas are a great place to live! I just moved in and the other residents are pretty friendly and several of them have welcomed me to the community. I had to move to Winston-Salem pretty quickly from out of state and the application process was smooth. I called several times to ask questions and verify things and the people at the office were amazing. Everything was done within a week. Bijon was honestly the best! Once I got here I went by nearly every other day asking questions about what I can and can't do at the apartment. She even makes monthly community events to boost interation with the office and the residents. It is nice that the complex is at the end of a street so the only people that should be going near here, either live or have business here. Not gonna lie, the electricity and water being included in the rent makes it much easier to keep track of bills as well."

"Where do I even start? Been living here almost a year & it’s been endless issues. During the walkthrough, my door was jammed shut so we couldn’t even tour the property that day. Upon moving in, the window was broken. They said they’d have it fixed asap. Mind you I moved here late fall. My kids & I went the entire WINTER with a broken window. Soon after that my washer wasn’t working correctly, maintenance came, & of course it started acting right that day. Then my toilet was leaking into our downstairs neighbor’s apartment. They claim it was baby wipes. Charged us $200, but my neighbors said they had this problem before. Anyway, then my washer stopped working again. They came to fix that and said it was a bad motor. Told us they needed to get a new one and it’d take some time. Two weeks later and still no motor. Had to call them over and over again. Finally they brought a “new” motor, but it ended up being a “bad” motor. At that point, they said they had to order another one. Three weeks later and still no motor. So I’m calling and calling again.. the office tells me that maintenance ordered the WRONG PIECE & that it’d be another 7-10 days before getting the new piece. Again, two weeks pass & continuous calls. I eventually ask if they can just put in a new unit. The office says that’s not an option. Tell me why a month later they put in a “new” unit. The replacement they gave me was ABSOLUTELY filthy & considered a biohazard. Luckily, I own a cleaning company & was able to bring it back to life. Completely unprofessional & ridiculous for them to be so careless. Not to mention I’m 8 months pregnant with two toddlers. As if that wasn’t enough, the dryer in the replacement sucks. I have to run three 90 min cycles for one load to dry. Told the office immediately & received the response of “What do you want us to do? You almost didn’t get anything”. Fast forward to present day, dryer still doesn’t work, toilet is leaking again to our neighbors apartment, and the dishwasher isn’t working. I absolutely do not recommend this apartment complex. It’s great as far as the price but it definitely comes with a cost. Edit - The new washer/dryer that I mentioned above ALSO had a malfunction. Maintenance tried to tell me there was nothing wrong with the dryer, but after a close look, they realized the temperature wasn’t getting to where it needed to be. Months later I’m back to square one with no washer/dryer unit in my apartment. Aside from that, it’s not the middle of the summer. My a/c hasn’t been working for two weeks. Despite me having two toddlers and a newborn that’s less than a week old.. they have not made this issue a priority. In fact, maintenance actually had an attitude that I was upset, and threatened not to come fix the issue. Again, please don’t waste your time."

"Was living here for more than two years and finally decided to leave since a lot of water leaking from upstairs. Can you image pipe leaking from upstairs for three times in three months? It’s a VERY OLD apartment and a lot of plumbing needs to be renewed or fixed. They have been spent time to modified outside appearance. They didn’t care about your stuff when flooding and that’s the reason why I decided to leave this place. A lot of inconvenience when the repair team to come in your unit again and again. A good management team should care about their tenant and try to fix problem at the first timing and ensure all problem got fixed."
