"My girlfriend and I, 22 and 21, went in to play pool and have a couple drinks. The old bartender asked for our IDs and I gave him two real IDs and he wouldn’t let us in. He was very rude and smug while implying our IDs were fake"

"They bill themselves as the oldest dive bar in Allegheny and part of it shows with floors from the 1930s and great classic music in the jukebox. The vibe is excellent and the bartenders even more so"

"The Hickey and Lou are Allegany legends. Good ole small town bar at it's best. Excellent bands and music all the time, with open mic and acoustic jams. I know there is a Facebook page with updates on who's playing when. Nothing fancy, just strong drinks and good times."

"They were Great People...Felt like Family Very Welcoming, they let me know they have a Blues Band Every Second Tuesday of the month, and usually bands on Friday nights...Had a Great Time and even got me a Tee Shirt $18.00....Thanks again for a Great Time"
