Pittsford Pub & Grille

"If you're getting bored of all your usual places, try Pittsford Pub. It's a bit nicer than most bars. We went on a Tuesday around 5:00. My husband had an order of mild wings, and I had a seafood Quesidilla. Although wings are pretty common, they were cooked exactly how my husband ordered them, which was light on the sauce. I seriously enjoyed the Quesidilla. It had just the right combination of lobster and cheese. My husband remarked how he liked it there. I can recommend giving it a try!"

"*HORRIBLE OWNER and SERVICE Horrible interaction with the staff and the owner. First the hostess ignored us when we came in and asked for a table. Waited over 2 hours for food, we assumed they were short staffed and tried to be understanding but after 2 hours enough was enough. We eventually decided after those 2 hours to leave. We had to get a hold of our waitress for the bill and eventually got it. I don't mind waiting, but this was absurd. Accountability goes a long way. Also, before we left we witnessed the owner or manager getting extremely angry and hostile with another customer asking about their food and the time they had been there as well. Now, he seemed to just be saying they had ordered over an hour ago and the owner accused them of lying saying it had “only been 50ish minutes” and the guy said something like “okay I asked if you were short staffed and I get that but I asked the bartender and he said you weren’t …” (didn’t hear the rest). Apparently the owner flipped out over this because he then started cussing out the customer and making fun of him. He was shaking (kind of looked like he had been drinking based on how short fused he was along with his body language)… regardless of what went down Cussing out your customers and making fun of them in front of their children is inappropriate. Would not recommend this place at all from that experience alone. Do better, bring held accountable shouldn’t result in talking down to your customers. Also reading other reviews. Apparently this guy is known for his horrendous and insulting behavior…"

"We live within walking distance of the Pub and have been avoiding the place for the past few years because of chronically slow service; every time we used to go, the wait for everything, especially the food, was interminable. Well, our oven broke last night and we decided to walk down to the Pub and give them a try. Wow, night and day difference from our prior experiences. Quick service (thanks, Catelin!), drinks and food came out pronto!. I had the Napoleon chicken sandwich, very good, and fries, also very good BUT they were not hot the way I like them. C'mon, PB&G, we want hot fries! My wife had skewered shrimp and loved it. Beautifully presented (for pub grub) and delicious. Okay, so now we're planning to come back to see if the quick service was a lark or their new now."

"Solid dinner on a Friday night. Service was good, food was pretty good, atmosphere was good. Will definitely come back. Probably slightly over a 4 for a “bar” atmosphere but not quite 5 stars."

"The food was very good, and tasty. We loved the Buffalo chicken dip, but make sure you stir it up because there were chunks of cream cheese. The pita wedges were the best to dip. I had special rib wings that were fantastic. Baked beans tasted canned, but at least a good can. Wife liked her sandwich and rings."
