"We had one flat tire, wanted to fix just that flat. It was Sunday morning on November 5th, 2023 at 9:45am. They looked at our tires and said we have two tires where the treads are completely gone. We looked at the pricing and decided to get 4 Goodyear Assurance all season tires they ended up charging us over $800 dollars for four tires and they wanted to charge us $350 more for break pads and the pads are good. It took over 2 hours for them two replace 4 tires and they had two cars in their shop and 6 workers. We had our 3 year old son with us because we were planing a Sunday day out and all the workers were smoking cigarettes right by the main entrance. Even though, it is not a safe practice. The manager acts like he is helping, but kept on adding more cost on everything. The sales agent said we are not trying to rip you off, even though they asked us to buy the Mavis tires over Goodyear over 7 times. Once again car mechanic ripping you off to get more money from you. “Why do people do everything to get more money from you?”"

"My first experience at Mavis Discount Tire on Merrick was a great one. I came in due to a flat and within minutes my car was taken in and a wretched nail was discovered in my left front tire. The staff were professional and polite and I felt at ease in their environment. I would definitely return to this business"
