"Kura Revolving Sushi is slightly overhyped. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Although, expect to see and hear a ton of kids here. With that said, if you're bringing your kid, please make sure they do not mess with the revolving belt. As for the food, some are delicious, while some are mediocre. I am pleased that the specials are the same cost as the regular sushi. However, I am displeased that there's limited options to choose from. The silver lining is that you can get a gatcha for every 15 plates you eat. There's also a mini video every 5 plates you eat."

"We've been to the locations in Tokyo and Bangkok, so was excited to see one open up closely accessible in Flushing. We saw the restaurant during opening week, but the wait times were just too long. After a couple months now, the wait times are only 15mins according to the app. The nice thing is that you can get on the waitlist without actually being at the restaurant, so if you time it well, you can get seated right when you arrive. That's what we did a few days ago - it was pretty empty when we arrived around noon after putting ourselves on the waitlist from the app. We were promptly seated to a table. Due to the Peanuts free surprise gift promo, we got exactly 15 plates split between 2 people. We probably could've been satisfied with just 12 dishes otherwise. We got a bunch of nigiri, and ordered a couple of rolls and hand rolls from the iPad menu. The sushi quality was above average, but the cuts were very thin. On the revolving train, we saw crispy rice options, but they were always empty after several rotations. They also didn't show up on the iPad. We asked a waitstaff who confirmed it's not available. The service overall was pretty good, staff were helpful - though most of the experience is self service to begin with. Overall it was around $70 total for 2 people, a bit hefty of a price tag, though I like the ability to have variety. I wouldn't go back for awhile unless there was another promo going on though, given the other great food options availlable in Flushing"

"Used to go to Fort Lee in NJ for revolving sushi. So glad it is now 15 minutes away. Line can get long during rush hours. Decent sushi, everything is self served and pick what you want on the conveyor belt. There are additional food options from on-screen menu and deliver to your table via a separate conveyor belt. Every 15th plates and 30th plates you discard get you a themed gift in the form of a capsule. They have a loyalty app program, where you can earn points on each plate."

"First time try this new location. We went there for lunch, got there around 12:50 and left around 2ish there was very less selection of food. On the belt basically had no food on it. We must ordered the food from the screen, it took 10 mins to arrive, we can see our 3 dishes of food were insides the kitchen hangout at the side of the belt But those person totally forgot to send it out. The ice cream was kinda melted. Pressed the call bottom to ask for help 2 times. End up no one showed up. I had to go look for a waitress ask her please send out our food and check. Totally disappointed. And my kids were disappointed too. We rather drive to Fort Lee to have better service and selection of food. Not worth it the money. Never again in the location."

"I'm not sure what's going on with the negative reviews but when I went, I really liked it. Sure, it was my first conveyor belt sushi experience but I got to try different bites (fish, crab, & beef) & I won a little prize after my 15th plate (it was a 3Dish anime dude pog). The only reason it's not a perfect 5 stars is they have no wifi inside (which means you can't do their QR code self checkout) and their wait time estimate was insanely long (95 - 120 minutes; I only waited about 5 minutes on a Wednesday evening but that hugely inflated time discouraged 2 people who got to the small line at the entrance)."
