SouthEast Bank

"I've banked at SouthEast Bank for a couple of years. Last week, 01/22/2024, I went into this branch with one question - how do I contribute funds to my HSA (setup with SouthEast Bank) for 2023 and not 2024. A very kind lady near the front, pointed me into the direction of Sharon Nicole at the teller stand. After hearing my question, Sharon decided to tell me a slew of opinions and facts about HSAs and how I'm being taxed but then added that she could not provide tax advice - all in a very condescending tone. I never once asked for tax advice and only had one question - how do I contribute funds to my HSA for the year 2023. I could tell that she was not interested in helping and asked if there is someone else I could speak with or pull up my account and with an eye roll and sigh, she added that she could pull up my account but there is nothing that she can do. She did finally answer my question but because I was disgusted at Sharon's lack of respect and common courtesy, I felt the need to leave instead of making the transaction. If it were not for the great relationships that exist at another branch, I would've closed all 8 of my personal and business accounts at SouthEast Bank that same day."

"We came to SouthEast Bank recently and needed help in setting up auto pay and several accounts. Rachelle Thomas worked with us for over three hours getting things set up. The next day Rachelle spent another two plus hours with my wife with other accounts. When I needed documents on a cruise we were going on she spent another hour or more making copies because our copier was not working. She is so friendly and helpful. The bank employee we have ever worked with. I give her 6 stars."
