"This is an amazing thrift store with fantastic treasures! I’ve gotten new or practical brand new clothes here, suits for work, dresses, sweaters & coats. They also have housewares and men’s clothes, too. Among my finds were a new with tags Banana Republic suit, a Theory dress, and Eileen Fisher pants. All of the items were in good shape. The staff are friendly & kind!"
"So I just tried to go to this store. It was 11:01am. There was a older white woman with short grey haircut at the register. When I turned the handle to the front door it was locked. She looked right at me dead in the eye turned around and walked and stayed in the back past the open curtain. Waited 2 minutes and she never came out. It was raining today so I had my hood on and she never came to open to the door. Avoid this place especially if wearing a hood when it’s cold and raining."
"Golden Shoestring is a excellent place to shop. It has clothing,jewelry, shoes, bags. Men's ,women's and children. It also has many other items. It will be decorated for Christmas soon. All purchases go to the Junior League of Westchester on the sound. In turn this goes to help the community. They are also on Instagram."
"Excellent thrift shop if not best in the entire county...not sure, don't get out enough to say that. BUT! when items are on sale, they go so fast! it's very high quality stuff! super nice clothes, jewelry, kitchen items, etc. some of it is expensive, but just don't buy it then. see when the next sale is and if it's still around. chances are, you don't actually NEED anything so...anyway, highly recommended thrift shop!! always my first stop when i "need" clothes"
