"Beautiful and relaxing. Well it can be relaxing if inconsiderate people don't come along and start blasting loud music. It amazes me how people act like they are in their own backyard and no one else is around and do whatever they like. Get off their jet ski or boat and let their dogs run free. And blast music. When people who have already been there minding their business are not being loud and obnoxious have choice but to leave because they will catch a charge if they beat some manners into you. But Masonboro Island itself is a beautiful place"

"Beautiful reserve. We go out here with the Wrightsville Beach Tours on their Pirate Tour and sometimes with our kayaks. It's a great area for a picnic and for seashell and sand dollar collecting. Lots of fun."
