"An Oasis in the middle of town My family really enjoyed our stay at Brown's Guest House recently. I appreciated the hosts's attention to little details (such as providing any appliances we could need, silverware and dishes, beautifully refinished floors, hot water and good water pressure, and nice decorations). I liked the unique unique amenities like artwork in each room, light fixtures, and antique furniture. The living furniture (beds, couches, and chairs) were beautiful, and comfortable, and the dining room was spacious with a table big enough for a large family (with an extra leaf available.). It seemed like they thought of everything - even beautiful desks in the bedrooms with USB ports to plug in our devices. The atmosphere was relaxing, clean, and simple. Despite the house being right in the middle of town, it was surprisingly QUIET because of evidently really good insulation, the trees around the yard. And since the bedrooms were in the rear of the house, night time was especially quiet and comfortable like an oasis in the midst of the business of town just a couple blocks from the coffee shop and breakfast spots! Also the rear access keeps your cars away from the road, which was nice. I'll recommend the Brown's Guest House for any family or friends that visit!"
