"Ordered lasagna, portion size was very small , mostly cheese, hardly any meat. Have ordered the same meal several times in the past, was excellent. My first choice was a dish that called for angel hair pasta , was told they were out of angel hair pasta but had fettuccine. Declined and opted for the lasagna . The prices have skyrocketed, $26 for a small entree of lasagna , no salad just the lasagna and bread. Will not return."

"A honest review about the catering/take out Thanksgiving dinner we got from MORE PERRECA'S (spoiler alert- DONT DO IT.) A positive: the mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing were flavorful and well made. The turkey was very very good, moist and juicy. However, the turkey was advertised as 16lbs of turkey (forgive me if I don't have the exact poundage correct.) No where did it state this is a full turkey that still needs to be browned and carved - which it included instructions on how to do. Someone who was expecting to get already carved meat, would be highly disappointed. We were expecting already carved meat as it was not advertised that it would need further cooking and carving upon ordering. More PERRECA'S has a bakery next door that they own. So I expected that the two pies that were included would bakery fresh, especially for the price tag for this dinner. The pies were two mass-produced tiny 8" pies you can get at any grocery store. I was absolutely appalled to serve these to my family - luckily I had made extra pumpkin pies that I served instead and two bakery pies I had received as a gift from my realtor. Lastly, the cranberry sauce was canned cranberries you can buy at any grocery store for under $2, opened and thrown into chunks into a quart takeout container. It was not able to be served - if you like canned cranberries, you probably know most people like it served in slices. I expected fresh made restaurant quality cranberries. This was disappointing. To be blunt, this dinner was EXPENSIVE. We received 1 turkey, stuffing, 1 loaf of bread (which was cold and hard - I had to wrap it in wet paper towels and microwave before reheating per their instructions because it was stale) mashed potatoes, 1 quart of gravy, green beans (which were not fresh, definitely prefrozen), "cranberry sauce" and the generic pies for over $300. For what we paid I expected SO MUCH MORE in quality. I am extremely disappointed for what we got for the price we paid. Just a heads up for anyone who is considering doing take out from them in the future so you are aware of what you are getting. I wish PERRECA'S had been more transparent about the quality of food they were serving for the price. Had we known, we would have likely ordered elsewhere."

"In my visit there, I was very much happy with the service and the food were just great! Loved the attitude of the hosts there and it was efficient! Although it was lunch time but when we requested, they prepared a dinner menu for us! Loved that! There were plenty on street parking for free at my time of visit! They had a bakery next door but it was closed at the time. Else, we would have explored a little more. This was the first time I saw little Italy in Schenectady!"
