We specialize in growing highly nutritious microgreens and edible flowers year-round using vertical farming techniques in a controlled environment with organic soil and non-GMO seeds. Our products are free from chemicals and pesticides, providing our customers with fresh and healthy options at an affordable price.
Since our establishment in 2016, Rooted Locally has grown from a small family-run business with just a few lights in our dining room to a 1000-square foot facility equipped with state-of-the-art grow lights. We now supply microgreens and edible flowers to over 40 restaurants, chefs, and caterers on a weekly basis, as well as sell our products at farmer's markets year-round. Our success in the local food movement has led us to open a pizzeria at our location in Buffalo, offering artisan pizzas made with locally-sourced ingredients.
In addition to our microgreens and edible flowers, we also offer bulk ordering options for our products. We are constantly expanding and have plans to develop our operations on 24-acres of land in East Amherst.
