"We gave this place a try and it was quite disappointing. The people working behind the counter were very friendly however the food gets a 1 star the onion rings were burned and the fries tasted like old oil. The chicken sandwich was super greasy my husband didn’t even eat the food and it’s a little pricey as well."

"After seeing a few delicious-looking mentions on social media I decided to check out Ruby’s Coop. Nestled in the middle of a Deer Park strip mall, Ruby’s Coop would be easy to overlook if you weren’t looking for it. Upon entering, my companion and I were greeted by friendly employee named Theresa (sp), who patiently waited while we stared at the big, bright, well thought out menu display. My companion and I each ordered a burger and their lemonade drink, plus an order of the garlic cheese bites to split. Theresa suggested that we order a combo, but we didn’t want the fries. To my surprise those five items came to $41.77, which is normally out of my price range for lunch. The two chicken sandwiches alone accounted for half of the total bill. While we were there the restaurant was about half full with folks dining in and the traffic flow seemed steady. Our meals were brought to our table by another friendly employee. Theresa warned us that the lemonades hadn’t reached peak frozenness, but we gave it a go anyway. They weren’t frozen at all and boy were they sweet. I’m from the south but I’ve never tasted anything this sweet in my entire life. I’m guessing that the sweetness isn’t as powerful when the drink is frozen, but they should never serve it unfrozen. It’s overpowering. The Original chicken sandwich is perfect. The crunch of the chicken is pleasing to the mouth and ears. The slaw was perfect. The only change I would make next time is the addition of either regular honey or hot honey. The Koreatown chicken sandwich is equally great. The only change would be to make the kimchi slightly less dense/chewy, but I’d order it again as is. The garlic cheese bites were okay. Cheezely’s used to be the gold standard for cheese curds in Suffolk (until they chose to go with lower quality ingredients - RIP OG Cheezly’s curds), so we had high hopes for these bites. They were okay. They didn’t have the saltiness that I hoped for and the breading didn’t have much flavor. I wouldn’t order them again. I would return, but I’d skip the pricier items and stick with a combo. An Original chicken sandwich with fries/onion rings, and a soda might be the best way to go. I wavered between giving RC three or four stars. Honestly I’d give them 3.5 if I could because their sandwiches are good."

"The chicken is amazing. Had the Classic sandwich. Juicy so much flavor and so filling. The Mac & cheese was cheesy, yummy, thick and made with love. The back Mac sandwich was huge, juicy and a bit of heaven on earth. They have a strawberry froze so good. Frank it little too fast a bit of brain freeze. Worth it. So seafood at all. Safe for seafood allergies. Which I love."

"Hands down the best chicken sandwich I've ever tasted. Crispy, crunchy, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The mac & cheese isn't gooey cheesy but it's good nonetheless. The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. There are plenty of indoor seats in a nicely clean dining area."

"I was really excited to give this place a shot because of all the rave I had seen on Instagram. The food in the photos and videos looked fantastic However when I got their and got my food I was not very impressed. The service was wonderful and everything is made to order which I did like. The chicken sandwich has a lot more breading than it does chicken and it tasted very bland. The Mac and cheese was your average Mac and cheese. And the popcorn chicken tasted dry and flavorless. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great with good music and it is extremely clean. I was really looking forward to having a new chicken spot in town and I think it could be great with a few minor fixes."
