"Roamstead is the place to go. We had some issues initially at check in, but the staff was more than friendly and accommodating and made sure our vacation was amazing. The bathroom and showers are heated and always clean. The creek is so pleasant and something we enjoyed listening to while falling asleep. Our kids explored every nook and cranny around our Yurt. ALL of the sites are roomy and allow you the space to not be on top of the next person. The lodge has coffee and granola in the morning, board games for kids and families. They have a restaurant and bar. A beautiful 30 minute drive from Gatlinburg, it really isn't something you can beat. We come to TN every 6 months of so and we will definitely be staying here again!!!"

"Absolutely loved this place. Was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The lodge was so cozy, had a lil cafe and cute decor. The people working were so helpful and friendly. More then willing to tell fin stories and give local recommendations. We stayed in one of the yurts and despite being 19 degrees overnight we were toasty warm. The place was so cute and made for a memorable stay. There is also direct access to hiking trails in the national park. Very cute trails that made for a great morning walk."

"We had the best Christmas at Roamstead. The campground is well appointed in every way, this owners and staff have paid attention to detail in every way. We loved it and will go back again one day. The stream running through in multiple locations and the sound of the running water soothes the soul."

"A gem of a campground with the natural beauty of creeks and forest running through and surrounding it. The host staff take time to get to know you and provide the most welcoming stay. Our Pine cabin was very cozy. Loved the coffee and will definitely stay again!"

"Spent two nights in the Hemlock cabin this weekend and had a great time! The cabin is spacious and has everything you need from showering to cooking. There’s a hiking trail basically outside the back door, and I wish the weather had been better for us to take advantage of it. We ordered pizza one night (very good!) and ordered drinks from the bar. Can’t wait to go back in warmer weather and use the other amenities."
