"The former Sous Chef of the original Nobu downtown has moved KURYU from Brooklyn to Roslyn in Long Island and the quality has only gotten better. The $150 omakase is very filling and I loved the way everything was coursed and the quality was tops. I am sure the smaller sushi sets for $40-55 are also wonderful. Chef Teruo uses fresh local seafood from the adjoining market as well as imported from Japan. This is worth a trip from the city or if you're in Nassau county, conveniently located next to the LIE."
