"Went to this place as my usual place is closed on Tuesday. Granted I am spoiled because I work in downtown flushing, but this was just bad by any standard. Mapo tofu was inedible as they used left over spare rib tips as the pork component. Made the whole thing tase sweet and then way over did it on the pepper flakes to cover it up. The rest of the food, simple lo mein and chicken with broccoli dishes, were smothered in thick soy garlic sauce that resembled motor oil. The steamed pork dumplings were filled with something that I am not sure is even a cousin of pork. Some manufactured meat product. Avoid unless you're desperate for heart burn."

"Ordered plain lobster sauce. It came looking like egg drop soup. Tastes nothing like lobster sauce I've ordered from other places. They charged $7.45 for a pint size of this white egg drop soup that they labeled as plain lobster sauce. Never ever order from this place again. Those 5 star reviews are fake. Please see the 1 to 2 stars reviews that are posted in between the fake 5 stars reviews. The worst chinese take out ever. It is disgusting that they think they can get away with selling white egg drop soup for plain lobster sauce. You guys should go out of business. I will tell everyone who lives in the area not to ever order from you guys."

"We did a group order for our work place .. and i specifically asked the person over the phone if any of the rice comes with vegetables. He responded yes and then also said to add eggs to two of the fried rice . The guy over the phone said he won't charge but i see the receipt they charged for the eggs and gave maybe 1 or two little pieces of eggs .This is not it i paid for an shrimp roll but i didn't get it but the response i got was " it was a large order" This place is a joke . The food was the worst i ever had"

"Unfortunately, I am still searching for a good Chinese restaurant in the Floral Park / New Hyde Park area. This is NOT it. First time ordering Wong's Garden so I ordered a bunch of stuff. Here's my take on the food... Spicy cold sesame noodles. Too sweet and had little flavor. No salt or herbs and wasn't spicy. I ate three bites before it went into the garbage. Fried pork dumplings. OMG they were disgusting. The dumplings themselves were obviously old and dried out. The insides were a greasy slimy mess. That also had no flavor. Try salt, soy sauce or maybe some fresh scallions. Sigh. I couldn't swallow the one I tried and I opened the others to see if the disgusting center was the same. They all were inedible. Hot and sour soup. Was like dark dish water. Was NOT Hot or sour. Nearly flavorless and contained none of the shredded pork I enjoy in ever other hot and sour soup I've had. Vegetable spring rolls. Crunchy on the outside but slimy on the inside. I was able to swallow the one bite I took before they went into the garbage. Deep fried cheese wantons. I had high hopes. Unfortunately, they are just unseasoned, un-herbed, cream cheese filled fried dough. General Tso's shrimp. It's the only thing that didn't go right into the garbage can. My wife thought they were fine but that they had too much sugar in the sauce. There is a trend here. They serve cheap ingredients, poorly put together with no care about the final products. Is there no pride in the food or the kitchen? Certainly seems like there is none. My search continues..."
