"I tried the fried chicken, potato salad, and mac and cheese. The chicken was very juicy and seasoned well. The Mac and cheese had to be up there with the best I’ve ever tried. I enjoyed the potato salad. This is a great hangout spot to come eat and relax. I definitely will recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Come on an empty stomach. Support this business"

"This place is really nice! My homegirl came to visit and she suggested brunch here and it did not disappoint. She especially wanted to try to because she used to live in the neighborhood and the restaurant used to be her day care lol. The waitress was attentive and when she suggested cornbread for the table we did not hesitate to agree. We were glad we did it was very tasty. The mimosas were tasty but not strong enough. The owner explained it's because of being in close proximity to a church. The food was very good but my boyfriend thought it wasn't enough food, I feel it was just right. The decor is dope from the waiting room in the front to the rest of the restaurant. I def recommend trying this place it will not disappoint."

"***OMG!!*** If you are looking for DELICIOUS soul food, this is the spot!!! I had baked turkey wings with candied yams and baked mac, and my sister had the fried whiting. Let me say it was THE BEST!! The owner and his wife are beautiful people too. We are definitely coming back!!! 10 STARS for this place!!"
