"The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean. The restaurant next door is very convenient and the breakfast was delicious. Don't go in expecting luxury. The rooms are a bit dated but serve the purpose of an inexpensive place to sleep, bathe, and rest overnight after exploring the Smokies. I had more problems with the fitted sheet, not staying on the bed, than anything else. My second night, I tucked the top sheet in and just slept under the comforter. There is a mini fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. Not a K cup. There isn't a hair dryer, so bring one of you need it. I stayed in January during the Jeep Freeze Out ride. It was convenient since it ed close to the Outpost. Pigeon Forge was a 30-minute drive. The room was very warm during cold temperatures."
"Perhaps it was just our room, but the Beds were not comfortable at all. There was not a switch for the balcony light in the room but the light on the balcony needs to be turned off at night so the room isn’t so bright. Shower heads need to be updated."
"Nice mom and pop owned hotel. Clean rooms on the quiet side of the Smokies. Located 1 mile from The Great Smoky Mountains National Park."
"The have old septic tank system & toilets get clogged constantly & room service said we don't have anything to pour in toilet. So she gave me a plunger & said "maybe that will help & just keep it in room" Maybe employee was having a bad evening or what. But the lodge is over all great place! We stay every year in August for the past 10 yrs. It's the 1st issue since,most employees are awesome."
"This hotel is excellent. Due to business, I stay in hotels 30-40 times a year minimum. This is probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Great location, quiet, coffee, fridge and microwave in room. Good wifi. Fresh towels and trash emptied daily. Super friendly staff. Close to all the good stuff in the Smoky Mountains. Will definitely be staying here again."
