"I’m from NY and Caribbean and was visiting from NC. Excited to get some real Caribbean food my husband and I went to Peppa in Queens..the customer service was AWFUL the lady was rude and didn’t greet us just had a sour face the whole time..besides that THAT FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! I had the oxtails with Mac and cheese..everything was WELL seasoned and delicious!! Sooo even though the service was lacking it made up for it as I licked my fingers in satisfaction.. Hospitality=0 food=1000‼️ I guess you dont go there to pay for hospitality you go to pay for the food."
"Called to inquire about specific food was told had to come in to place order and wait 20 minutes. As I was parked out front when I made the call walked in to place the order three workers visibly present and saw as I walked in waited 3 minutes with no greetings or acknowledgment walked right in out. People need to do better especially when the food is not feee and costly!!!"
"I ordered the small jerk chicken plate with peas & rice and cabbage. The food was delicious but the customer service was lacking. I wasn't acknowledged when I entered. The woman who fixed my order should not be working with customers. She should be assisting in a different capacity. Placed my food in a bag and put it on the counter. No thank you or anything. I will not recommend or patronize this establishment based on my experience."
"The jerk chicken was excellent, oxtails nice and tender and the mac cheese very tasty. Unfortunately, the music was TOO LOUD, it was deafening loud. It's not a dancehall, this is a restaurant smh. However, I wanted to place a big order about $100, but while ordering the girl kept asking me to repeat because she couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear her, seeing the frustration in her face, I decided to place a small order and left. I hope the owner reads this message and just low the music down."
