"Filthy. Bugs, dust, dirty dishes in cabinets and cobwebs. This was brought to the attention of the local team the day we arrived, we were promised that someone would come out to clean. They didn't respond until the day before we left and at that point we were told that because of a recent snow in Knoxville, a pre arrival inspection was never completed, even though the cabin had been empty for awhile. I would encourage the owners of this cabin to get new management."

"Disgustingly filthy! When we arrived the place looked great on the outside, inside is pretty as well, but we had bad issues with the place being clean. Dust everywhere, on furnishings, ceiling fan. Dead bugs in the windows, crawling bugs at night when a light is turned on, they started crawling everywhere. Sinks slow to drain, old coffee in coffee pot with mold on top of it. Showers had to be cleaned before we could shower. Dust under all the beds, shredded tissue paper in a night stand, water bottle that had been drunk out of left in a bedroom. Greasy smears on fridge, stove and microwave. Sticky areas on floor, sticky on trash can. Bed sheets and towels feel like sandpaper. I can't believe this place gets excellent reviews, we did not experience this."

"The cabin was very nice. Could tell owners put alot of TLC into it. Unfortunately the company that takes care of it is doing a injustice to the renters and the owner's. The grass was at least 6 inches long. They came the 3rd day and mowed it, so we never got to enjoy the fire pit. The tub was very dirty. Washer smelled of mold. Pans were put away wet, so had to re wash to use them. The fridge had rotten food that had ran to bottom of crisper. I paid almost $500.00 in fees for four nights. Including professional cleaning. Service fees and taxes. It's a great location on the quiet side of the mountain. Alot to do close by. Just very disappointed after saving all year to take my grandchildren there. I have rented from Cove Mountain reality 5 times in the past and never had a bad experience like this. Thought I would try someone different. I guess my lesson is "If its not broke don't fix it""

"This place was amazing. It had everything we needed to have a great time with the kids for a few days. It was very clean and well maintained and there was plenty to do without having to go too far, but if you don't mind a little ride (a very scenic one) there is even more to do. We enjoyed the Davy Crockett Stables, highly recommend if you're looking for a great way to explore some of the terrain while being one with nature. The Tuckaleechee Caverns were also an amazing site and are only 1000 feet away. We look forward to booking again in the future!"

"We have to work hard to get all of our adult children in one place at one time, and this cabin fit the bill! We absolutely loved the quiet setting and the layout of the cabin. We had comfortable accommodations for everybody. We also love the location; it’s slightly out of the way of crowds, but still convenient to many great activities. We enjoyed Tuckaleechy Caverns and the Davey Crockett Riding Stables, and Cade’s Cove is quite close. It really fit the bill for us."
