"I was a little disappointed because I had Texas Chicken in Manhattan and it was perfect. When I tried this location in the Bronx it wasn't as good. I ordered the three piece chicken. But the breast was a bit dried out. Go to the one in Manhattan. So much better."

"Never visiting Texas, I was anxious to find out the gastronomic pleasures of Texas chicken. Now I'm well traveled but never had Texas chicken and was elated that a place in New York focuses on this foreign exotic delight. As I approached the front counter, my mind raced with thoughts of does Texas chicken taste like New York chicken. Are the serving sizes bigger since "everything's bigger in Texas". I asked the guy at the counter to tell me the magical secrets of Texas Chicken and he explained using language that only a New Yorker like myself can truly envy. After dissing every atom of my being and my mother's being, he told me to order something or leave and go do things to myself that are anatomically impossible as far as I know. Not yet flustered and still wondering if Texas chicken is better, I ordered the chicken and fries special, sat at my cleanly wiped table, took a bite of a average-sized Texas chicken leg, and contemplated the life-changing question before me... Is the chicken better in Texas? (Two minutes later...) Nope... It all tastes the same to me. Bloody hell, I rode an hour on the subway for this..."

"The food was the worse I ever ate at a Texas Chicken and the service was so disgusting as the server was very vulgar and combative and even made reference to my father who is deceased!! If I was starving I wouldn't eat here for free!!"

"I believe this location specifically changed their menu a bit compared to other chains in Bronx and Queens. Having tried their Chicken Sandwich combo before; the meat and bun were different this time. As well as the packaging. This location no longer has the same packaging as the original chain. I do have to say though that food tasted just as good and fresh! Disclaimer that the menu is not 100% halal. They have a separate halal menu."
