"Rasta pasta is supposed to be creamy and perfectly spiced and pieces of chicken. What I got was dried pieces of pasta mixed with all sizes of bones because they couldn’t bother. The pasta looked destroyed and I couldn’t enjoy eating it without biting into pieces of chicken bones and skin. I also ordered bbq chicken but was called bc they didn’t have any, so I said ok to the jerk chicken yet the white rice I ordered, was changed without asking to rice and peas. This isn’t the first time the PRICE doesn’t match QUALITY. It’s the only place in the blocks radius that sells hot food but I’m not spending a dime in there anymore. You don’t know what you’ll get, will it be fresh or have sat there? You take a gamble when ordering. I spent 60$ for what? the size plates are too pricey for what you get. The only saving grace is that we crave jerk chicken and there are no other options for that, yet."
"I stop here at least once a week. The food is always fresh and good. The ladies that serve are also pleasant especially Trish. The restaurant is always clean."
"Small in size but big in flavor, the lady that served my meal was very attentive to my requested items, I am a picky eater. The plate I ordered was big but I never expected so much meat lol. Today I still have some put away. Very busy place with orders from the delivery companies (Uber, dash and so on) this place was a hidden jewel in my area. I recommend it to anyone with the taste of Caribbean food."
"I am highly disappointed with the quality of my food. If you know that you’re closing, don’t take orders. I ordered the shrimp Rasta pasta. It looked like it was sitting out all day! The shrimp and noodles were extremely dry and worst of all, it was cold! Why would you sell food knowing it’s out of temperature! Made me wait over an hour so that the staff could scrap up dry noodles and shrimp. I will never order food from this establishment again, I’m reporting it to DOH and I’m telling anyone who listens not to eat here. This is how you get treated in the hood, bet if this was downtown they wouldn’t dare. Very disappointing."
