"Typical campground along the Blueridge parkway. No water of electric servi e at sites, but water spigots conveniently located throughout the campground. Bathrooms are in need of maitenance, but clean. Friendly staff. Campsites are clean and maintained. Great hiking on the 12 mile Rock Castle Gorge loop."

"Gave this Trail a try with my besty Izzy instead of staying at the CG I choose the Boy Scout CG - Come by the profile for more doggy trail hikes including the AT"

"We had site C15 in the tent area, where no generators are allowed. We had a level spot, picnic table & fire pit. There are no electrical sites in that loop. Met some nice campers & workers."

"Beautiful location and campground. We reserved a spot in the RV loop just a short walk from the restrooms. They were not heated however, and only the men's had an operational light. No big deal, but good to know to bring a flashlight. So much to do around this site, but it was unseasonably cold (30) and very windy. Had to stay inside & run the heater to stay warm! The fresh water hose had been turned off due to cold weather, and we were running a bit low. This is close to our family property in VA, so we plan to return and see more of the surrounding trails and sights!"

"We love this campground. The sites are beautifully wooded and nicely spaced. The camp host and ranger are friendly and helpful and there is live music on Saturday eve performed by talented local musicians. You can also access a hiking trail by simply walking across the Parkway. Minus one star because the bathrooms are seriously lacking. FYI-no showers but that’s not a surprise in a rustic campground. Beware that some sites in the rv section are pretty small. We recommend walking the loop to decide. Floyd, VA is a short drive and a great stop on the Music Heritage Trail. We will definitely go back."
