"I'm not the one to leave comments and reviews but I have to speak on the doubles I ordered... Not sure who makes the bara but it was absolutely atrocious. Stiff and hard. Also I ordered a curry goat with roti first things first I wa specific and said not to wrap it yet I received a wrapped goat roti... Then to top it off whoever cooked burned it. This is my first time ordering again from Ann's in 3 years and it seems like nothing has changed food quality wise."

"This place came came highly recommend by my friend. I have never tasted their food before. I ordered fried ripe plantains and fish cakes… was very disappointed with the quality of food. Being Guyanese fish cakes, I expect a cylindrical shaped and tasty product. The fish cake was flat, not tasty and the fried ripe plantains were burnt and greasy. I would never order anything from this place again."

"Like home made! First time tasting West Indies food ABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN DELISH! Ingredients, spices with a combination of pleasant, humble and funny couple! Tried a selection my favorite was the pea balls with mango chutney, the roti (the wrap made of flour) freshly made with fish & hot sauce, the mac & cheese very well baked just the right amount of cheese to salt ratio. The plantains due to their thickness are a bit hard yet nice flavor. everything tasted was finger licking fantastically made! The area is in the center of town and can be a bit difficult to find parking. Here’s some options noted: 52 bus (from Dyre Ave to Bronxville) stops at corner, 55 bus (Dyre Ave to Cross-county), 7 bus (New Rochelle to Yonkers metro-north).Mt Vernon East Metro-North stop. Take-out or pick-up hidden gem!"
