"I like Shah's Halal. Used to get from White Plains and was excited when they open in Yonkers. Two times I've been there it has not been a good experience. Food is always good but service has been rude. First time I gave the benefit of the doubt. No greeting, even though there was no line the person was taking his sweet time to finish what they are doing before attending to customer. Skimped on meat. Came back a second time because I like the food. Same experience. This time I called out and was asked to pay extra. We pay over $10 per plate not for rice and condiments. Wish there was standards and cared about the customer."
"This place is perfect for what it is. Chicken+ lamb platter with rice, salad and sauces. Ordering is Chipotle-style, so you can be picky about your veggies. Generous portions. Easy parking. Open late."
"The halal food spot just opened recently in Yonkers and food here is as authentic as anywhere else. They serve your average halal food truck menu. Lamb, chicken, or flafel with rice or in a pita topped with white, hot or green mint sauces. Ordered combo platter with pretty much all optional veggies. Platter was nice and meats were well seasoned and delicious. I like it that they serve seasoned rice which go well the meat and veggies. Sauces are nice and compliment meat and veggies. One thing I like about this place is that they have plenty of parking and seating space so you don't feel rushed like when you're trying to buy from halal carts in city. All in all it's a nice place to visit if you looking to get some halal food in Westchester."
"So let's just start with the Fact that this place has not had their grand opening yet. I can't wait for them to have their grand opening. The people that own and run this particular Location are absolutely amazing. Very kind hearted and very customer orientated people. Today I went to the establishment and ordered a platter, that was when I met the owner/manager of the restaurant. She was so nice and she had a lot of Customer Orientation to provide me. The employee that took my food out was kind as well. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer of this establishment. Thanks for coming to yonkers"
