"I would never step foot in this place again, overcharging for salmon & when I asked for oxtail gravy ( even offered to pay for it ) she said she can't give me no oxtail gravy unless I'm ordering oxtail... Never heard that before a day in my life! Food wasn't that great either"
"The oxtail is fall off the bone delicious. I’m not a big gravy person, but I definitely ask for extra when I come here. $21 for a medium oxtail isn’t bad at all and definitely worth every penny. They also have a reward system"
"Ordered oxtail with rice and peas, macaroni, and cabbage. The line worker was extremely rude and kept saying "next next next" in a rushing manner. Can we get time to read the menu... oh I'm sorry, I meant the WALL. Not to even mention, I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes to wait to be acknowledged. The rice and beans were BURNT. Literally, black beans were all throughout the dish. Macaroni was decent, but the cabbage was so bland, it's almost as if they cooked it with nothing but water. If I'm paying for a large oxtail, why would you give me 3? They should seriously consider changing their name to Yellow Star because ain't nothing gold about it. I could understand if the food was 10/10, but it's literally not. Do better."
"The food was absolutely delicious! Heavy portions for a great price. I loved how they were blasting r&b music. Service could improve as there was a long wait to be served while there were plenty of staff behind the counter. Perhaps having a system in place would help keep customers moving quickly. Overall I loved the food! 10/10"
