"I ordered 2 sandwiches on the app. I arrived at Empire Bagel in Cortlandt and I had to wait 30 minutes for my sandwiches. I wasn’t alone. Customers were getting irate. There was 3 cooks in the back playing loud Spanish music and 4 up front helpers behind counter and no one can justify why I had to wait 30 minutes. I even observed a women who just wanted a muffin and coffee and the staff was bothered that she was in a hurry, and she walked out. Not quite sure who manages the shops but they need to screen workers better. The food is good but not worth the wait nor the attitude. Good luck if you decide to go. Not for me!!!"

"Stopped in for a bagel, left with bagels, salads and sandwiches! Great atmosphere, great choices, the only thing that wasn’t great was the staff. There was a sandwich that didn’t have a description so I inquired and was told the # of the sandwich on the board rather than just tell me what was in it (there is absolutely no other people waiting for assistance so he could have simply stated the ingredients). He was equally unhappy when my friend ordered their sandwich as well. Maybe he had a bad day and I’m going to chalk it up to that because otherwise, I probably wouldn’t go again . But!!! The young lady that rang us up was the opposite, she was very sweet."

"The decor is fitting and the food is fresh. It's my 2nd time going, and I am not disappointed. There are many options to choose from, It's not just bagels. My one small complaint .. which I have heard others say the same is... they still do not have a paper take-home menu. I am sure I can google it, but it's nice to have a menu to keep and pass around when doing a phone order."
