"This is the best barbecue I've ever had. You can stop reading if you want, it's that simple. This is amazing food, and you should eat it because it is, literally, the best. I came here with my partner to celebrate good news, and this only made it better. The portion sizes are incredible, the quality is astounding, and the atmosphere and service is absolutely lovely. This is food cooked by someone who knows exactly what they're doing. This is food with the details done so well, the complexity is something you can taste but not be pulled out of the experience. This is incredible food. It's all good, but from first hand experience I'd recommend the fried pickles, the cornbread, and the ribs. Get the dry rub like the chef intended; you won't regret it."

"Great place! Family business. I was tempted to get the pulled pork sandwich, my go to at BBQ places, but was a bit wary of the chipotle slaw (why is there chipotle in everything now? I blame Chipotle), so I got the pastrami sandwich with (unseasoned) fries. It was delicious! They serve Pepsi products here, so I stuck with water, which was generously replenished by the friendly and courteous staff! Highly recommended!"

"We had two dinners and a pulled pork Sandwich. The food was really good. The gal who waited on us was both helpful and attentive. While not inexpensive it was very tasty and we will be back. Update; went after the Dutchess County Fair since we were in the area. Beautiful evening so we are outside at a lovely table. We had gumbo to start, delicious. Then I had the half rack St Louis style with chipotle Cole slaw and corn bread. Delicious. My wife had pulled pork dinner with collard greens and mashed potatoes. Delicious. Dessert was Banana cream pie and coffee. Delicious. This place is wonderful. Service was spot on."

"Easily one of the best smoky barbecue I’ve ever had. I shared the 3 meats and 3 sides combo with my boyfriend and it was spectacular!!! For meats, we had the pastrami, smoked ribs, and brisket, and for sides, we had the sweet potato fries, mash potatoes w/ gravy, and blue cheese coleslaw. It was absolutely exceptional. You could see the smoke ring on the brisket, the smoky ribs fell off the bone, and whatever brine they use is just out of this world. As for the sides, the sauce that came with the sweet potato fries was like nothing I had before, the blue cheese coleslaw too. The mash potato was so silky and smooth. In terms of service, phenomenal. The waitress was incredibly personable and helpful. Left this place with a huge smile and a big belly."

"One of the best meals I have ever had (without exaggeration)! Stopped here passing by on the 4th of July having driven further upstate and looking for a local area BBQ place open on a holiday en route home. What a fantastic find. I ordered the NY handcrafted pastrami sandwich - wow!!! The pastrami was delicious and cooked to perfection, holding together but melting away when cut with a fork. The perfect balance of bite and soft. And enough fat to retain the wonderful flavor whereas a too-lean pastrami loses it. The brioche bun was super soft and the perfect accompaniment to the meat, and lightly slathered with the right amount of mustard to enhance the flavor not distract from it. Also hit the jackpot selecting sweet potato fries as the side. Best ever - and with a beautiful maple dipping sauce that was not overpowering but delightfully sweet. The service was impeccable. Very friendly waitstaff and attentive. Great atmosphere and vibe inside, and the outdoor dining area looks very fun as well. Absolutely returning here and immediately telling people what a phenomenal experience I had."
