Walgreens Pharmacy

"I rarely complain publicly about customer service. But my experience at the Walgreens Pharmacy on Potters Road in Stallings, NC this evening (November 19, 2022) warranted this complaint. We've noticed the service level at this particular location has declined steadily over the last couple of years, even pre-COVID. I thought the Pharmacy closed at 8:00 p.m. I was walking back to the Pharmacy at approximately 6:05 p.m. and saw a lady being checked out at the Pharmacy window. As I neared the window, she thanked them for her prescription and turned to leave. As I started to walk up to the window, the metal window screen began lowering. There was a lady to the right "peeping" around the corner and another young lady with glasses simply said "The Pharmacy is closed" as I walked up to the window. The metal screen continued lowering. I quickly asked "What time do you close?" I then saw the Pharmacy manager standing farther over to the left of them and he rudely said "We were supposed to be closed 5 minutes ago" as the metal screen completed closing. None of them offered to stop the downward motion of the metal screen just to be sure I didn't have any type of emergency. In actuality, I had run out of my medicine and didn't have my medication for the next day. And on top of that, I had been notified by this pharmacy via text that my medicine was ready for pick-up. And if they had just stopped the metal screen and asked, I would have told them I was out of medicine. But they may have then said "is there any way you could come back tomorrow?" and I would have probably been OK with that. But the fact that they saw me standing there and basically snapped at me that they were closed as the metal screen came down with no effort at all to see why I was there is what drove me to write this complaint. After this experience, I'll be switching my medications to another Walgreens pharmacy nearby and certainly hoping their customer service is better than this location's service."

"Walgreens pharmacy on potters rd in stallings nc is the worst pharmacy in the world! Have had multiple issues with them but this one took the cake! Evidently there was a problem with my moms Medicare. And it wasn’t going to pay for her script. So we got it straight to where she could get two wks of her pain meds to get it straightened out. No one told us that would void the whole script and we would need doctor to call in another one. After two weeks got it completely straightened out and was a problem on medicares end after all. Went to pick up rest of script it even said on bottle we got partial and had a refill. Get there to fill it and pick it up. They said insurance was fine now but when you only fill a partial script you have three days to pick up the rest. They never told us that and it didnt say that on bottle. We had to wait until Monday to contact the doc to get new script. That took two days for doctor to do. You are supposed to call three days in advance if you need refill on pain meds for his office. Then he had to contact pharmacy because he didn’t understand why they filled partial he said they are not allowed to do that. We got her meds six days after being completely out. She was so sick. She has been on pain meds for 4 years now. She was going through bad withdrawals. Took her to the er and all they would give is morphine and she was to scared to do it. It was a nightmare!! We could have paid cash (I would have gotten the damn money from someone!!!)if we would have known but no one told us otherwise!! Screw this pharmacy. They leave her messages now that she isn’t even customer and keep saying she has a new medication ready. She calls and they say they didn’t call her. We blocked their number so it will quit worrying her."

"I got there for a vaccine and I was the only person there, so I filled out paperwork then sat down. Other people came in to pick up prescriptions, so the pharmacist kept attending to them for FORTY (40) MINUTES. Why did Cindy attend to someone that came in 35 minutes after me. Makes no sense"
