Sequoyah Falls

"Pretty cool place to stop and take in the view. Got some cool photos."

"It's not that it isn't a pretty area, but this is not a natural waterfall. It's more of a spillway (dam) at the end of a nice little lake. Overall this area of NC just outside of Highlands is beautiful and has some nice waterfalls."

"Beautiful peaceful waterfall. There's a small pull off and a rough path down to the water. If you are unstable on your feet, make sure you have someone to help you get down. There is a large pipe towards the bottom that you will have to climb over. It is beautiful and worth a stop."

"A uniquely beautiful picturesque waterfall going over the dam of Lake Sequoya. Very easy to get to and right off the main road - Franklyn Rd. Parking is off to the right and just a short distance from the falls. Rocks are a little slippery at the bottom but shouldn't be an issue if you are careful."

"Spot is right at the Highlands sign. There is a small path that isn't difficult to get down, but does involve hopping over a large pipe to get back up. The rocks covered in water are a bit slippery, and there are some pools, but the water is quick moving so I don't recommend getting into it. There is a short drop at the bottom and I'm not sure it would be good idea to go down it."
