"These falls are tremendous, and this hike offers multiple side opportunities to explore different views. Don't be put off by the rope climb to the pool, as the ascent isn't nearly as steep as it appears. Harper Creek continues along the MST trail when you double back, but the falls is the end point for this trail."
"For a (fairly) easy hike in and out, Harper's Creek Falls trail is a must. The first portion, as stated, is a sharp ascend with switchback but it's totally manageable. Once past that, the trail stabilizes and becomes more groomed and clear. We took the day and brought lunch and our hammocks and totally recharged. The falls were so neat to see, and the pools were fun to play in (even though the water was so cold). There are many places to camp out and you don't feel like you're "on top" of the next campers. Watch out for snakes.. we came across 2 copperheads... but that's with any hike. Have fun and enjoy the scenery."
"Beautiful place! The water is clear and not too cold so it is perfect for swimming. To the second level of the waterfall you have rocks you can jump off into the water and the creek there it's quite deep so it's totally safe. The trail to the fall it's about 1.6 miles and it's quite easy but it barely has any signs to show you the way and it can be confusing. If you have trouble scaling down with a rope then you should take the first passage down the creek and then walk a little bit along the creek to arrive at the waterfall."
