"The condo Carolina Dreaming was great! Very clean, bed was very comfortable. The condo was nicely decorated. THE PROBLEM IS THE WATER SMELL!!!! IT IS HORRIBLE!! The front desk says that all ofCarolina Beach is like this!’ If not for the smell of the water I would give it 5 stars!"

"We were in 1110 Lake Lure by the Sea for three nights. The view was spectacular and the place was clean. Unfortunately the fireplace and jacuzzi did not work. There was a sign by the jacuzzi indicating it would be fixed ASAP, but the sign appeared to be quite old. Seems unlikely that there are no immediate plans to fix it. My wife and I slept in the double bed in the master bedroom. The bed was old and we tended to both end up in the middle. I do not recommend this unit."

"I don’t normally like to write a negative review but I am making an exception this time. Last year we reserved 1107 Surf’s Up and it was wonderful. Clean, comfortable, a great view of the ocean and the service provided by the staff was excellent. Surf’s Up was booked this time so we reserved 1109 Blue Heaven. The view and staff are still excellent but the condo is terrible. The furniture has been changed since the photos were taken. The couch and chair are so dirty we had to cover them with the sheets that were provided for the bunk beds. There is a light outside the condo bedroom window on the walkway as is the case with every condo here. However, the cheep blinds are so inadequate the room feels like it is day time all night. The cook pans are teflon and so burned they are unlikely to be safe to use. The kitchen knives are rusted. When the wind blows, as is normal along the coast, the wall whistles so loudly you can’t think. I had to take the comforter off of the bunk bed and place it along the bottom of the entry door to stop it. You have to take off your jewelry before using the sink or shower as there is nothing in the drains to stop them from going straight down the pipe should they come off. I would avoid this unit at all cost."

"I love this condominium building. I've been going to the same unit for over a decade. It has been updated & new furniture placed during that time. It is very clean & the staff is accommodating. The views are great & even better on end units. Carolina Beach is quieter than other beaches & provides a nice, calm getaway."
