Ocean Ridge Plantation

"I recently spent the weekend playing three of the four courses at Ocean Ridge Plantation, and my experience was horrendous. It took us six hours to complete one of the three rounds, and the course had zero hydration available. To make matters worse, alligators were out of their cages and obviously harmful. The starters, rangers, and cart guys were unbelievably rude and would not let us touch our bags or move our carts. We thought the courses would be in decent shape but were poorly mistaken. The fairways were full of weeds and dirt, and there was no grass anywhere to be seen. Making matters worse, golf course security allowed us to overserve alcohol to ourselves, resulting in outrageous behavior and slow play. If I had the choice, I would rather sit alone and watch paint dry than play these goat track golf courses at Ocean Ridge Plantation."

"Golfed 36 here and its an absolutely amazing place to golf. (Tigers eye & panthers run) Course was dry and a little yellow due to lack of rain, but still played great. Overall staff was very professional, friendly, and more then willing to go above and beyond. Will definitely be going back if I'm ever in the area again. Would of given 6 stars if I could."

"Courses are in TERRIBLE shape. Greens, fairways, and tees are barely green (more brown) cart path from 1-4 holes are more dirt and oyster shells than asphalt. You can’t drive cart to driving range ( what’s up with that) , When an employee tells you the course is in bad shape that does bode well. Picture just a very tiny shot of bad cart paths( this actually was a good area). Expected a lot better looking course for the cost; website pictures must be old and are very deceiving."
