"This place is just it. Going from the couch to working 1:1 with a personal trainer can feel insanely uncomfortable. From day 1 in the gym, working with Andrew has been an absolute gift. The whole staff are legit the kindest, coolest, and most encouraging people you can find. 6 months later, there's no place I'd rather be. This place rocks, the people are great, and the vibes are top tier. If you're looking for a gym to feel known, seen, and encouraged, this is the spot. 10/10."
"I've been a member of this fitness gym for the past year, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I'm always impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the facility. What sets this gym apart from others is their commitment to every single gym member. The trainers are not only passionate and motivating but also incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help. Each class is a fun and effective workout. Plus, the class schedule is accommodating for various time slots, so it's easy to find a class that fits your schedule. Another highlight of this gym is its emphasis on community. I've met some wonderful people here, and there's a sense of camaraderie and support among members. The gym often hosts events and challenges, fostering a sense of belonging and making the fitness journey even more enjoyable. I would HIGHLY recommend this gym for anyone looking for long term wellness."
"I joined Oak and Iron after a trial membership and have not looked back. A few months ago, I moved to Raleigh. I also work from home, so it’s difficult making friends and finding a community. Oak and Iron really impressed me with their varied class offerings, expert coaches, diverse staff and community, and clean equipment. It’s the perfect gym for me in NW/north Raleigh to get out of the house and meet up with other people. The classes are as challenging as you make them, and everyone is so welcoming and friendly - from the staff to the other members. Energy is always positive and music is always on point. And I’m also seeing really great results in my strength, mobility, and physique. Thanks, Oak & Iron for making me feel at home!"
"I have been here since May 2022 and have loved every minute! This is truly the best gym community I have been a part of. In addition to being a trainer, I also participate in all the classes and LOVE the programming. If you’re looking for functional training that promotes longevity- you’ve come to the right spot."
"Gyms can be intimidating. Lifting weights can be scary. Group fitness classes use to make me anxious. I eventually got out of my own way. Matt has built an incredible community with Oak and Iron. The facility and equipment reflect the time, hard work and love that was poured into its making. I love the inclusiveness of the members. No matter what time you take a class you’re sure to find someone who will cheer you on and push you. I love how the trainers are hands on and correcting movement as you go through the workout. This was huge for me starting out as I was coming from a background of never lifting weights. If you’re interested in personal training you’re in the right place! Every trainer is amazing and truly care for their clients. I can speak personally from training with Kayla. She’s so knowledgeable and will help to push you beyond what you think you’re capable of. She also offers nutrition! I cannot say enough amazing things about my gym. Start your new year off right and come hang out with us!"
