"Be careful before signing a contract with Karate Charlotte. When my son had to leave the program unexpectedly, after no one from the studio called to check on him. In several years of trying to resolve the outstanding "balance" we paid up front - we have repeatedly been rudely spoken to by Mr. Striker. In addition to refusing to acknowledge that no one reached out to us when my son left, Mr. Striker and continues to insult my family's integrity and our parenting. Whether or the studio agrees that money is owed in refund, no one has the right to be rude on the phone to myself and question our moral standard."
"My daughter has been taking lessons at Karate Charlotte for over a year now and absolutely loves it. She has gained a better sense of self-discipline, respect and responsibility through the karate school. Each of the instructors is very encouraging and patient with the children and gently drive them to "give it their best" on each exercise. What my husband and I also loved about Karate Charlotte is that the instructors get the parents involved by assigning homework to the students to complete at home, having parents write letters to the school as a reward for the student doing well on a chore (for example), and calling home before belt testing to ensure that the child is behaving well at home and at school. I would recommend Karate Charlotte to any parent looking to introduce their child to martial arts."
