NC Farm Bureau Insurance

"I recently switched to Farm Bureau from GEICO to save $400 dollars. After only having a policy for 5 months, it has been one of the worst insurance experiences of my life. Unfortunately, it was not at all worth the money I saved to switch. During the term of my policy, a driver on my policy was involved in a rear end collision. After this, my experience with Farm Bureau very quickly went downhill. It took two weeks for the adjuster To go and look at our car to appraise it for damage. I called the adjuster several times, and when I finally got an answer, he did not even know that he had my car on his c caseload. It took nearly a month and close to 20 phone calls to finally get the payout for my totaled vehicle. In my experience with the exact same incident with GEICO, it took me only four days to get a payout for my totaled car. I truly do not like to be one to complain, however, the majority of my experiences having to call the office and talk to someone have been disappointing. Often The person on the phone is rude and/or very short with their answers. Before my sixth month policy finished I already made the choice to switch back to GEICO because of my unfortunate experiences that I have had with Farm Bureau."
