"The program it’s self is a good program if you use it wisely. there is a lot of knowledge to absorb and many complain that they are not being taught due to their lack of discipline. my biggest gripe with this school is CHS. they are incredibly money hungry and will get you out of every penny you have. 2 people sharing a room for 750 a PIECE is insane. 4 people to a 2 bedroom apt. the apts have sub par living areas , i have had conversation with other students about roaches and black mold in the living areas. wendy and jennifer are incredibly rude. they pick and choose who they represent to help. i like the idea of CHS , but the workers in this office are slack and do the bare minimum. this company will rob you silly and won’t think twice about it. as for the teachers, they are good so long as you pay attention as you should. my favorites have been Mr. Garcia, Mr. Jump, Mr. Karol, and there are other great teachers. paying attention to the information that is given to you is important. while people say that working in a shop is better , school teaches you the theory that the shop doesn’t. i have a couple friends that have gone directly into shops and truly didn’t quite grasp everything that encompasses the engineering and science behind engines. take initiative and learn the material you’re paying for."
"NTI was a great experience, and several instructors made it a great learning environment that I was eager to attend every day. John Sweeney specifically helped me with learning the ins and outs of the motor sports world, and was helpful with sharing his knowledge and experience he gained through his years in it."
"Great experience doing course such as Core, Ford, & Nascar. Mr. E. Garcia is one the electrical instructors and he has been very helpful to get me better understand how electrical circuits work and how to troubleshoot them. Really good school."
"Just like any school some instructors are really good and some are ok. But I learned more from Scott Kazura. Hands down best instructor. He not only knows his stuff about the material but he will even provide info beyond that. If you are interested in learning more he will teacher as much as you want."
"The only reason I am writing this review is because Scott Kazura is the greatest teacher I have ever had. Scott taught me so many different things while I was at school, whether it was about the material about the race world, or even just life advice. He taught me many different tricks of the trade for setting up a car. He also kept the mood light when things were dark at 7.00 am outside in the pit area. Overall he was an incredible teacher. The other teacher that deserves some props is mister Henderson. He is the reason that kids are able to get to so many teams and begin their motor sports career. If anything needed to be changed it would be fab there is no reason to have a fab three class. That class was not helpful at all most nascar teams are not building most of there parts on there cars. If there was something they needed to replace that class it would be great to see a second chassis apps class. -benji"
