"Counselors are great but front office staff could use some customer service training. Consistently stand at the window with it closed just waiting for the girl to either see me or decide she can help me now. Not friendly and can’t always get on the phone either. I’ve watched other clients go through the same thing (one woman was kept waiting for fifteen minutes!). Seems really weird. ETA: New front desk staff is amazing. So friendly and totally on top of it. :)"

"An absolute NIGHTMARE to work with. I was only able to complete my testing due to the kindness of an individual practitioner who works with this company. The professionalism is the worst quality I have ever seen it took me 10 months to finish testing and I’m still having a nightmare of an experience just getting my results released. They sent my balance to collections even though I never received any statements neither paper nor electronic informing me of the balance, and they are refusing to release my test results even though I clearly informed them I already entered into a contract with the collections agency, so the balance is no longer their’s to request. The woman in charge of this department talked over me the entire time and refused to even let me communicate what the situation was. Not to mention the fact that they are withholding my results for a separate service. My final evaluation was never charged to their company. I’m sure this is not even legal to do. I need my results for a time sensitive matter. I will never work with these people or recommend their services to anyone. If you are looking to have a comfortable testing experience this is absolutely not the place for you."

"This place is absolutely amazing. From the staff at the front, to the counseling team themselves, this place is by far the best option if you’re looking. Taylar has shaped our son’s life in so many ways and we are eternally grateful. She cares for him as if he was her own. That type of loving, caring attitude along with the structured services they provide is why I highly recommend this place to anyone. You will not be disappointed! "Was in the hunt for a new therapist as my old clinic ~never~ answered the phone to make appointments, and I’m so glad I found Spring Lake Counseling. I wish I could remember the receptionists name, but she is the absolute sweetest. Very professional and helpful, she gives a very good first impression of the center. She is quick to answer to phone and is just so cheerful, it’s contagious. I just started with Margaret McKoy and I had such a great session. I feel like she just knows the right questions to ask and the right feedback to give. She’s very attentive and has a lot of insight to give. The patient portal is also super convenient and that’s a bonus factor when coming here. The location is super convenient as well."
