"It takes forever to get scheduled so don't bother. I have used PT many times in my life. This is the first time that I only was assessed on my initial appointment and not treated. How difficult is it to put a hot pack on your back before you leave? I did the intake form on the app and was asked what would make this visit successful? I stated modalities and not a home exercise program because I was in pain. Took a week to get in for my initial appointment and was prescribed 12 weeks of PT with exercise and would have modalities next visit.. a week later. But only 1 appointment was available that week. Next appointment would be in 2 weeks. I wanted PT for pain relief. Help me with pain before you give me exercises which will add to my pain. Was also told about ala carte needling services that are not covered by insurance. Sad, because I am a fan of WakeMed. Was not at all impressed with their outpatient rehab and the work around based on their issues getting insurance contracts with the big 3."
