About the Business
The Drop Zone Drop-In Childcare is North Carolina's premier hourly drop-in childcare center, located at 1350 5th Avenue in Garner. We offer care for children ages 1-12 years old, with up to 4 hours of care available Monday through Saturday during normal business hours. Military Monday offers a $1 discount per hour, per child.
In addition to hourly drop-in care, we provide after school care for school-age children (Grades K-5) from 2:30pm to 6:30pm on weekdays. Workday Camp is available on official holidays, breaks, intercessions, and workdays from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
Our Summer Camp is a highlight, with 12 themed weeks starting on Monday, 6/3/24 and running through Friday, 8/23/24. "Super kind and professional staff. I'm glad I came here for the first time leaving my son! They squeezed us in and were so loving to my baby boy and he's a tough one! The environment was so fun and clean, my son didn't want to leave. They made it easy for a first timer because they keep the doors super safe and secure, as well as not being able to see inside. The best part is they sent us home with some beautiful things from our first day!"
"My wild toddler loves it here! After just one visit, he felt safe and welcome so he plays with the other little ones and all of his needs are met. I really love this place because every single child is well taken care of! Not one child is left out. My son gets so excited to come here and he gets sad when I leave but it’s just a show because he loves everyone there. When I come back to pick my wild one up, he’s always playing and having a wonderful time. It makes me so relaxed to know he’s happy and safe while I’m working. I bring my toddler about once a week since Drop Zone opens early and can help me out when I need to be at work early. So if you need to be at work at an early hour, consider bringing your little one here! 5 stars!"
"I cannot say enough good things about the drop zone in Garner. The women who run it are absolutely wonderful. My son LOVES going there so much he asks me about it first thing in the morning. This place has been a saving grace for my family and I know that my son will be safe and happy while he is there. They do crafts, lessons, and games. 10/10 !!!!"
