Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care

"I was experiencing a spike in blood pressure and had some dizziness along with several other odd symptoms, and wasn't sure if it warranted a visit to the ER or what. In years past, I could go to Presbyterian urgent care and they would at least show some interest in hearing my symptoms, check my vitals before telling me to go to ER, or at least help narrow down what's going on. The people there at my recent visit had very little in the way of compassion or interest in helping me. I'm sure there are wonderful people who work there, but I guess they were out to lunch or something. Told me either go to ER or call my doctor in the morning. I took a double dose of my blood pressure pills (within my doctor's previous recommendations) and drank a bottle of water in the parking lot, then went home pretty disappointed. Called my doctor and set up an appointment for a cardiologist to rule out major stuff, which is only a month long wait. Next time I'll just go to the ER. This place is apparently for minor issues that aren't so...urgent. My, how this institution has changed. I miss Presbyterian so much. Nothing like my previous experiences with the Novant network, either."
