"Dr. Joey Arencibia at Southeast Eye Group is an excellent patient & kind Doctor. I had a medical emergency a few months ago & called him on his birthday on a Sunday. He dropped everything to see me & opened the office for an examination. It ended up being a corneal ulcer because I slept in my contacts. He prescribed me some steroids & directions & it cleared up in around a week. He followed up with me & I made a couple more visits. He's a great guy, very knowledgeable & has helpful staff. His son works for him as well & he's a family oriented guy. I wasn't a patient before the ulcer, but I will be from now on. Thank you Dr. Joey."

"Went for eye exam , had glasses made , (expensive glass lenses). ( I do close work ) lenses Were not made correctly ? they re-made , (still did not focus )? , was told they were correct ? They ,could refund purchase ,after 5 trips ? In the past I ordered (on line) with script provided from exam ? Like 6 pair in 15 years ? Never had a un- usable or out of focus issue. Insurance changed an (could no longer order) on line other wise I would have ordered on line . Any how 5 trips to and from and 3 months later was issued a refund . Never realized buying a pair of glasses would be such a time consuming frustrating affair? It had been straight forward and simple thing in the past . Its not rocket science ? It is a pair of Glasses . The eye ware quest continues."

"Carrie, who helped us in the eye glass department, was wonderful! Her professionalism and compassion was above reproach. She was patient as my husband and daughter tried on several different glasses and asked questions. We will always come back and ask for Carrie to help us with all our eye/sun glasses!"

"Only 4 stars because I haven't had his services personally yet. Can't imagine not choosing him. I was with my wife for appointment she had. What I witnessed was an up to date, highly professional office. Dr Arencibia was just like his staff: professional, efficient, and personable. The other reviewer seems upset because he was told the people that made his glasses are responsible to correct any problems with the prescription or with how they were made. Progressive lenses or lined bifocals is a personal choice. Put on your big boy pants and choose."

"I won't be going back… as soon as doctor Joey found out that I bought glasses from a different place down in Florida because I'm not independently wealthy and was down at Mayo clinic already for major vascular testing.... He literally started acting like a 16 year old girl whose boyfriend cheated on him. He told me that there was nothing they could do it was not their problem and I needed to go see the place that made my glasses. He became very impatient when I tried asking him whether or not I needed progressives or bifocals. He basically didn't care one way or the other all because I bought glasses somewhere else. He couldn't get out of the room fast enough. Very very unprofessional if you ask me. They are the most polite people and they have and an immaculately clean office… but the politeness goes away with the doctor if you don't get everything from them. Needless to say, at 43 years old and my 1st experience with ever having to wear glasses or see a doctor about my eyes… I'm very disappointed."
