"I have been a patient of Dr Livingston for 5 years. He is great. The staff is the problem. I know from past experiences that your staff can make or break your practice. The problem is returning calls. The last several times I have left a message with his nurse I was never called back forcing me to go there in person. You can always get in touch with the appointment line unfortunately they are off site in a different location. They told me they have no way to contact the doctor or his nurse. I told Dr Livingston about the problem and he shook his head knowingly. He has heard the same complaint many times. He seems to have little control because the staff is contracted out. My wife and I are considering finding a new primary care provider."

"I absolutely love this place! I've been 3 times and have been in and out within a hour and I'm usually a walk-in if I can't get in with my doctor at the blue ridge office! I've seen 3 different doctors and they were all so nice and listened to every word I would tell them and I took my son today and they did an amazing job with him and we were in and out within 30 minutes. The only thing is sometimes it does take a few times for someone to answer the phone but I would recommend this place!"

"My visit to North Georgia Family Medicine in Blairsville this morning was very pleasant. I did not have an appointment but rather needed urgent care. I felt the wait time was fair for just walking in. Everyone I encountered was very friendly, from the front desk workers to the nurse and especially Katie Storms. She was very welcoming and knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do for me. I was in and out without being rushed and was able to go on with my day."

"I REALLY love the people at NGFM. I LOVE Melissa Youngblood N.P. she really takes her time with her patients and all of their needs. She's AWESOME. The problem is that no one seems to be answering the phone. I have called 10 times today and left 2 messages. I also tried leaving a call back number to no avail. I know they are open, and I don't believe that no one is there to answer the phone. There are always people working in the front. This is not the 1st time this has happened. Like I said, I LOVE this practice, but if I can't get through, what do I do? I have been trying since about 9:30 this morning and have continued throughout the day. I hope they will fix this problem quickly because it seems like this is becoming a bit of a problem."

"I have been a patient here for years. I’ve never been disappointed with any of the care I have received. From getting my blood drawn being painless to diagnosing what was going on with me. After coughing for almost 2 1/2 weeks, my husband urged me to go to the doctor again. I didn’t think I was going to be able to get an appointment so I was going to go to the local clinic and was not able to be seen there, I took a chance and called the doctors office again at 4:15, I was able to get in there at 5:15. I saw Dr. Patton, who I just thoroughly enjoyed. I’m thankful that she was able to see me and took the initiative to have a chest x-ray done to see if there was anything else going on with me and this cough . I’m feeling better today and I am so thankful for the care that I receive here."
