"Great care but a miserable billing experience. I had 8 visits at this provider for chronic lower back pain. David and Sierra were great at setting up exercise routines that I could tolerate and my back pain subsided greatly. They will push you to improve but will take into consideration your fitness level and tailor treatments to your particular needs. The facility is bright, airy and has all the equipment needed for complete rehabilitation. The downside is Pardee's billing system. Although PPTB is in my insurance network there seems to be no coordination between the therapy facility, the hospital billing department and UNC Healthcare's central billing office in Charlotte. My initial claims were rejected for incomplete procedure codes which were quickly corrected by David and Sierra. I was able to move 3 of the 8 claims through my insurer. Three months after finishing therapy 5 claims remain unpaid because Pardee can't be bothered to re-submit them with the updated procedure codes. I have contacted Pardee/UNC Healthcare at least 5 times but nothing has been done on their end. I am now receiving payment overdue notices . Really? They do almost nothing to help themselves get paid by insurers and would rather harass the patient for payment."
