"My son just started at Peak Charter Academy last week and so far I am very impressed and completely happy with everything! From the amazing tour we received at the school that was so informative and the whole ease of the registration process, to all the spectacular communication via emails and texts. Everyone that we encountered working at this school is so nice, knowledgable and helpful. I feel this school is really organized and just overall a great school and there are continuous emails and/or texts from teachers, the principal and the school staff with updated information...which is wonderful to have! On top of everything my son already loves this school since day 1, he likes all his teachers, he is excited to go to school, really engaged in all his classes, made friends easily and is overall just a great experience. It is a breath of fresh air compared to my son's previous schools. I feel so lucky to have him in this school. I can't wait to see how else this school will impress me for the remainder of the school year! Thank you Peak Charter Academy for being awesome!"

"My two children have been at Peak since 2018. We are very happy with the overall experience the school is able to provide. I believe the principal is extremely involved and has great communication. The deans have also offered a level of professionalism and have been a great resource for information. The scholars are held to a high standard and I appreciate the dedication to being well rounded individuals. I would recommend this school and encourage parents to be involved in the PTO."

"My child has been at the school for 4 years and while he has made many good friends. As he entered middle school we both started seeing a decline in how things were run. For example, the students have close to no freedom of what a middle schooler should have. My son keeps complaining about how the teachers are constantly telling us to be in an "orderly fashion" as in facing forward, being silent and on the blue line like as if we were in kindergarten. The teachers and staff also seem to not care about doing anything about this. My son and two of his friends came up with an idea of starting a student council, where they brought up the idea to the dean, where it was said that he would ask Principal Pond to get approval and see what their ideas are. Its been over 6 weeks since and there has been no response as if no one ever cared about listening to students share their ideas. It seems like the school does not care about kids trying to share their opinions on how to improve the school."

"Excellent school. We have been here since they opened the doors in 2017. My daughters are both thriving and love coming to school. The school provides a safe environment that is also warm and inviting. Principal Steve Pond does a superior job of leading. To the negative reviews who discuss teacher turnover- I would point out that all industries are seeing turnover as a result of the pandemic (education, healthcare, hospitality, etc) This is not a Peak Charter specific problem. If your child is a hard worker they will excel at this school. The tiered structure program provides more opportunity for student growth than the AG programs at Wake County schools. I highly recommend this school to any parent who is looking for an excellent education for their child."

"Both my girls went to DDE in Cary, so I was reluctant to switch over to Peak Charter. I’m glad I did, this is our second year there. It’s a great neighborhood school within walking distance of our home. My girls are happy, maintained their grades and made new friends. I love the security entering the school. It’s great not to worry about my kids being in a trailer. There’s no over crowding, so they’re still able to pay attention to student needs. The principal, staff and teachers are awesome. I love the uniforms, arts, music and athletic programs. Overall, I’m very impressed with the school so far."
