Eagles Nest Child Development Center 5611 Lewis Road, Gastonia, NC 28052

"It's a big no for us. We had a scheduled appointment at 5:30 with the director, Diamond. I exited my car and was at least 10 feet from the door when I heard consistent yelling, "Call her Mama! Call her Mama!" from the director inside to a worker. Another daycare worker then immediately met me outside, as I was told to wait outside the door. I was not initially even welcomed into the building. When I was eventually welcomed in, I was not greeted by name, but instead by "Please excuse our mess," as one of the workers was sweeping snacks in the main hallway. My gut feeling says absolutely no. The professionalism is definitely lacking here. I would not trust any of these individuals to care for my child. -D. Crowder (5/27/22)"

"I was excited to put my son in daycare here, until I was told 2 days before going back to work that they didn’t have any teachers for his classroom. Very unprofessional. They have known I was going to be bringing him here since the end of February, yet didn’t have the decency to call me and let me know a week in advance before leaving me with no childcare. I don’t recommend this place. Especially since they seem to be a revolving door for employees so your child will have multiple teachers within a span of a few weeks, which isn’t good for development."

The director and staff are so super friendly and care for the children. My 5 year old loves it here. I am so happy we made the decision to bring her here."

"All three of my children attend this great childcare facility (ages 1 - 8). They have a wonderful staff that truly cares for each child. They are great at communicating and are very helpful. This facility has lots of play areas outside for the children and offer enriching activities. It's a great place to play and learn."
