CVS Pharmacy 3592 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106

"This story is mostly for CVS because no one called me back about my horrible experience. So I’ll leave it here. I came by one night to pick up my five month old baby’s medication. I waited in the drive-through for over 20 minutes. I rang the bell 3 times, and I knocked on the window once. I looked inside, and there were two women, absolutely no customers. They look towards me and ignored me. I went inside and let them know that I was in the drive-through for a long time and told them I need my sons medication. Frida ignores me completely, and the pharmacist Katie walks to the drive-through to help the drive-through customers instead of me. I asked the woman who wasn’t doing anything if she could please help me. She said we’re really busy. I said, I’m the only one here and I’ve been waiting in the drive-through for 20 minutes. I wasn’t rude, I was actually very nice for the situation. She started going off on me about how hard her job is and just complaining at me. I tried to say many times, can I please just have my son’s medication? She kept interrupting me, and going on and on about her job, she wouldn’t even let me speak. She was just holding my son’s medication hostage in her hand while I had to listen to her go off for no reason. I let her know that I have epilepsy, that she was upsetting me a lot, and I could have a seizure. She said “I ain’t got time for that” and I said what? If I have a seizure on the ground? And she said “yeah that’s not my problem” and continued withholding the medication. At one point she told me that I was being unprofessional, which doesn’t even make sense. I don’t work at CVS, the only one that was unprofessional was you, Frida. You wouldn’t even let me speak, so what did I even do wrong to you? After about 15 minutes of that torture, the pharmacist Katie came over, took the medication and gave it to me. I have never ever had an altercation with someone in public in my 30 years of life. This woman should not work in public or with people, especially when mothers need medication for their babies. I travel a lot for work and have used over 50 pharmacies. This is hands down the worst, consistently awful."

"Doctor sent the prescription in at 4:44 pm. Received a confirmation text from the pharmacy at 5:04. Drove from Mt. Airy to pick it up, arriving at 5:50pm. Was told the computer put it in as Q1 and could only pick it up the next day at 11am. Long story short, they lied. The only reason I HAD to use CVS was because no one else gad the medicine. NEVER AGAIN!!!"

"CVS has always been our place to shop and get our prescriptions filled. There has been some turnover but staff members continue to be friendly....Mandy is amazing and she always has a smile and a kind word!!! The pharmacist is getting his legs since coming into the position and is good to see him smile."
