"The owner, Sue, mistakenly left me a voicemail while she was speaking with the daycare staff. I wish I could post it because it'll let current parents know how she views your children. I have never experienced such negative comments and an unprofessional approach to the care of children from daycare providers. We have shown full parental involvement, purchasing school supplies for this center along with daily items for all the children to use, personally made Halloween bags, provided thanksgiving doughnuts and Christmas breakfast sandwiches and doughnuts. Just the fact that my 5 year old and 3 year old were waiting outside while it was raining for me to pick them up showed us that this daycare staff are missing the importance of care for children in this setting. Ms. Melinda, Ms. Rhonda, and Ms. Angie, we hope you all get a better work environment and opportunities so you're not seen as unprofessional child care providers because of the poor management you are under. I do not recommend this business to any working parents seeking child care services."

"We love river oaks! Can't wait for my 3year old to start pre k next year. Mrs Rhonda has been the best. She keeps me well informed about my daughters progress and any issues that arise. We started river oaks in 2021 and have been there ever since. She has learned to walk, talk, play, share, and go potty at this school. I literally couldn't have the kid I have today without river oaks."

"My son is 13 months and attended River oaks academy two days and was put out for crying. This was our first time experience with childcare as a whole and this did not go well at all. I did read the reviews and seen this happened before but I thought let’s just see and give it a try. I was called at 11am to pick my son up because he was crying from the owner Ms.Sue his second day she then asked if he had a fever would I be able to pick him up. Mind you this was only day two of day care. My son wasn’t even given a change to get acclimated we’ve been in a new environment. My husband pick him up and was told that he can no longer attend daycare at this facility. This is who they are and they charter obviously. I’m happy that we seen this very early on but giving my 13 month old two days to get familiar with a new environment is ridiculous. No notice or anything at all just let me know they don’t have patience for kids at all and I am grateful that I seen this earlier than later. I don’t recommend this daycare if your baby cry who knows what will happen."

"This daycare is the worst. My grandson attended this day care for a month before he was kicked out of the school because he cries too much. My grandson is two years old and has neve been in a daycare atmosphere before. So there is a such thing as a adjustment period. He missed a week of daycare due to being sick but once he returned we were called because he was crying. He is two, that's what kids do. When my daughter would pick him up from daycare, she would ask the teacher how his day was and it amazes me how the classroom teacher and the director's comments on how his behavior went for the day were completely different. The daycare never gave any warning that they would be releasing him. We were told on a Friday when my daughter picked him up from his class that they were unenrolling him. When the teacher was asked prior to my daughter speaking to the director, she said that he had a good but the director told her that he had been crying all day and this was why he was being unenrolled. Not every child is not raised or structured the same. IF you believe this should be, daycare is not the business she should be employed in. So for parents that are looking for a daycare and considering River Oaks and they are toddlers, make sure they don't cry and can talk or this is not the school for you."

"I cannot say enough good about this place. The people who run this facility have gone above and beyond the call of service in helping to improve my families lives. The teaches are wonderful with my daughters, they have had very positive learning experience with everyone. I'd like to point out among the many many outstanding people there Ms. Sue, Ms. Shay, and Ms. Rhonda. Thank you all for the service you provide the community. My life would be much harder and much worse if not for this facility."
