Clear Sky Behavioral, LLC is a residential treatment facility located in Marion, North Carolina, dedicated to molding children and adolescents into successful adults through firm, fair, and compassionate leadership. Our mission is to provide a therapeutic residential setting where residents can work through high school curriculum at their own pace and participate in vocational trades programs at the local college, earning industry certification exams upon completion.
We offer a secure Level III facility as an initial intake point for new residents, with step-down options for a less restrictive environment as they progress in their treatment. Our partnership with NC Works and McDowell Technical Community College allows residents to explore various trades and earn national industry credentials, leading to successful careers.
Therapy is embedded into our program, with weekly individual and group sessions to ensure every client receives the care they need for total development. Our goal is to prepare our residents for the challenges of adulthood while providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed. "My son was sent up there by dss.over lies from his foster mother at the time.he was a good boy.he has a brother they have there days but he didn't act out til they took him from me.i went up yo see him is passed thrusday for the first time there.wasn in the small office long and the director cam in an with a room full of people plus my son.she told me I can't take my son home till she says an basically told me it was my fault he's there.i don't make promises to my boys that I can't keep.made me feel like I was a kid..she didn't know me till I sc howed up there told herwe have court Nov 30 an it's up to the judge to say when he comes home.dont u think he acts out cause he was taking from his 2 moms that he want to come home.apparentlly the think 2 woman can rIse kids.everthing was fine he had a happy home an with alot of love.its in my lawyer hands.for being the first time up there very disappointed they turn ur child on you they are scared to make a move"
"Don't work here!! they mark you down as a 1099, burn through employees, you don't get your 1st check for over a month - & right before the check comes they'll fire you, & they shorted my paycheck 70 HOURS. & since you're a 1099 you have to go to small claims court which they assume you won't. Also I saw staff lay their hands on minors a number of times."
"This place is absolutely horrible don’t send your child here if you want them to get better.there supposed to be trained to help kids with behavior issues.these people are not trained they kicked my son out as soon as he hit 18 instead of helping him.he was on the street for days.my son came back worse then when he went in.I wish I could give zero stars."

"I went to this group home and really love it. They have very structured environment and do every thing they can to help your child be prepared for life. The scheduled is full and helps make the days fly by. There is much love, care, and patience for the residents (even the challenging ones). I have been given many second chances there and many opportunity to grow and prove myself. *****"
