"The Mi Escuelita community has meant so much to our family over the past 3 years. We have had two children graduate from the school and transition to Frank Porter Graham. Neither of them had any Spanish-speaking experience when they started at Mi Escuelita and it was incredible to see how quickly they absorbed the language. They both loved the school, their teachers, and the friends they made. The director Marie Ann is fantastic. I would highly recommend the school to anyone interested in a Spanish immersion experience."

"My three children attended Mi Escuelita for over 6 years, one after the other (some years two of them were there together). What sets Mi Escuelita apart from other full-time preschool / day care centers is the quality of its staff: the teachers are loving, nurturing, highly educated, and fully bilingual. All of the staff speak Spanish as their primary language, and many were prominent educators in their native countries before coming to the U.S. Their attention to detail, patience, and devotion to the children are evident every single day with every child! In addition, the overall atmosphere at the school is like one big family: many of our dearest friends in town are the other families we met during our time at Mi Escuelita. And finally, Mi Escuelita prepared all 3 of my children for successful transitions to kindergarten. Two are now thriving students at a nearby dual language elementary school. Mi Escuelita is (in my opinion) the best preschool / day care center in town!"

Our oldest has moved on to the dual language immersion program at Frank Porter Graham, but is always eager to return and see his teachers at Mi Escuelita. One remarkable thing about the school is how long most of the teachers have been there and how highly qualified and experienced they are. They are true professionals who are devoted to what they do and they create a wonderful, caring environment for the kids. "Mi Escuelita is a great preschool! Our oldest daughter completed 4 years there and now our second daughter is into her second year - both know Spanish quite well. What we love most about Mi Escuelita is the warmth of the staff; our kids are loved and doted upon as much as they are at home! All of the teachers have been there for a long time, so it's a very safe and stable environment. The staff is not merely a collection of quality nurturers, they are highly qualified academically too.
